There are many reasons why a touch controller may not be detected by a computer.
Ensure you double-check:
If the drivers related to the USB from the computer are not installed, or they appear to be improperly installed, it may not allow Displax Skin to be detected in Device Manager.
This kind of accessory/device may not be capable to handle the number of USB communications, nor provide enough power to the Displax Skin.
