Add-on – Bluetooth LE Module

The DPXActiveOR Add-on is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module that bridges the communication between Active OR tags and the Skin Ultra controller.

This module enables the controller to receive tag data, including position, rotation, unique ID, and feedback actions, making Active Object Recognition possible.

Requirements

  • Skin Ultra Controller with an assembled interface port connector

  • DPXActiveOR-enabled firmware installed on the controller

Installation

  1. Connect the Add-on to the interface port of the Skin Ultra controller.

  2. Use the specific cable supplied with the Add-on module to ensure proper connection.

  3. Ensure the Add-on is securely attached before operating the system.

Placement Considerations ⚠️

For best wireless performance:

  • Integrate the Add-on in a way that allows for unobstructed Bluetooth signal transmission

  • Avoid enclosing the Add-on inside metal cases or behind materials that could block or weaken Bluetooth signals
