Requirements

To use the DISPLAX Active Object Recognition (DPXActiveOR) solution, specific hardware and software components are required. Ensure all requirements below are met before setup and integration.

Hardware Requirements

• DISPLAX Skin Ultra touch sensor

  • Supported sizes: 43″ to 65″ diagonal

  • Must be laminated on glass with a maximum thickness of 4 mm (mandatory)

• DISPLAX Skin Ultra Controller

  • Must have DPXActiveOR-enabled firmware installed

• DPXActiveOR Add-on Module

  • Connected directly to the Ultra Controller

• At least one DPXActiveOR Active Tag

Software Requirements

• Operating System: Windows 10 or later

• Displax Connect (with DPXActiveOR support, version 3.7 or higher)

• DisplaxSDK

• Supported frameworks for integration:

  • C++ / Qt Framework

  • C# / Unity Framework (minimum Unity version: 2019.4.28f1)

⚠️ Important Notes

• The glass thickness requirement (≤ 4 mm) is mandatory for proper tag detection and performance.

• Make sure the controller firmware and software versions are always up to date for compatibility.
