In the latest version of DISPLAX Connect, the Auto-Save feature is disabled by default.
When Auto-Save is off, any change you make to the settings will trigger a Save Changes button, allowing you to confirm changes manually.
Click the Preferences icon in the upper-right corner of the DISPLAX Connect interface.
Select the Advanced tab.
Close the Preferences window.
Once enabled, all configuration changes will be saved automatically.
Even when Auto-Save is enabled, it is recommended to:
Restart the touch controller(s) after making adjustments.
Close Displax Connect once the configuration is complete.
This ensures optimal performance and prevents any delay in touch responsiveness.
The Open Mode setting in Advanced Preferences allows you to select between Modal (default) or Windows mode, for the application menus, dialogs, and console windows.
The Reset Settings feature in DISPLAX Connect allows you to restore the application’s configuration to its default values. This is especially useful when troubleshooting unexpected behavior, configuration conflicts, or after extensive testing and adjustments.
Resetting settings does not uninstall DISPLAX Connect or affect the settings of touch controllers. It only resets application-level settings.
When Reset Settings is applied, DISPLAX Connect will:
Restore all application preferences to factory defaults
Clear custom configuration changes made within the software
Remove saved adjustments that may cause conflicts or incorrect behavior
⚠️ Important: This action cannot be undone. Any custom settings will need to be reconfigured manually.
Navigate to the Advanced tab.
Click Reset Settings.
Confirm the action when prompted.
DISPLAX Connect will reset the application settings and return to its default configuration.
Use the Reset Settings feature if:
DISPLAX Connect behaves unexpectedly
Touch behavior is inconsistent after multiple adjustments
Configuration conflicts are suspected
You want to start a new setup from a clean configuration
After resetting settings, the tutorial will be displayed again. You may now reapply the necessary settings for your use case.
