How Do I Calibrate a Single Displax Unit?

If you are using a single Displax TILE unit, the calibration process is straightforward and closely mirrors the procedure used for a standard Displax Skin. You will use the Displax Connect software to align the touch sensor with your operating system's display coordinates.

Step-by-Step Calibration Process

Follow these steps to successfully calibrate your single TILE unit:

  1. Open Displax Connect: Launch the Displax Connect software on your connected PC. Ensure your TILE unit is detected (you should see the Product, Serial, and Firmware details populated).

  2. Navigate to Calibration: Select the CALIBRATION tab located in the middle of the main interface.

  3. Verify Screen Settings: Under the "Screens" section, verify that your display is correctly identified by the software (e.g., displaying the correct resolution and orientation, such as 1920 x 1080 Landscape).

  4. Initiate Calibration: Click the large CALIBRATE button located at the bottom of the software window.

  1. Touch the Targets: Once you click calibrate, the screen will change, and 4 calibration targets will appear in the corners of your display.

  2. Complete the Sequence: Start by firmly touching target number 1. Keep your finger on the target until the green circle completely fills.

  3. Repeat: Repeat this touch-and-hold process sequentially for targets 2, 3, and 4 to finalize the calibration.

Troubleshooting Tip

If the touch points remain inaccurate after completing these steps, verify that the resolution listed under the "Screens" section in Displax Connect exactly matches the resolution set in your operating system's display settings before attempting to calibrate again.
