Each Active OR tag comes with an automatically assigned ID and a default name. These can be changed in DISPLAX Connect to make identification and management easier.
For example, you may want to:
Reassign a tag ID (e.g., change Tag ID 1 to Tag ID 2, since IDs are attributed by pairing order)
Rename a tag with a user-friendly name instead of the default one
Tag IDs are assigned in the order tags are paired, but can be changed manually.
Tag names can be customized, but spaces are not allowed (use underscores or hyphens if needed).
IDs and names are stored in the system and reflected in DISPLAX Connect and the DISPLAX Service API.
