Daisy Chain Mode for TILEs before 2021
It is possible to use Display Port cables to interconnect up to 16 Tile units.
Each Tile has two Display Ports, one for input and another for output. The Display Port input on the first Tile will connect directly to the computer graphics card, while the Display Port output will connect to the Display Port input of the second Tile. The Display Port output of the second Tile will connect to the Display Port input of the third Tile, and so on until interconnection of all units (up to 16 Tiles).
All USB cables should be connected directly to the USB ports of the computer.
The following picture demonstrates an example of 4 Tile units, using the Daisy Chain mode.
As each Tile unit has a resolution of 1920X1080, after configuring the Daisy Chain setup, the total resolution needs to be calculated according to the number of Tile units you have.
In this example, you have 4 Tile units in Portrait mode, which means the total resolution will be 1920 X ( 1080 X 4 ) = 1920 X 4320.
