Effects Editor in DISPLAX Connect

The Effects Editor in DISPLAX Connect allows you to customize the color (light) and vibration effects of Active OR Tags. This feature is mainly used for testing, prototyping, or creating interactive feedback patterns for specific applications.


Features Available in the Effects Editor

  • Light effects: Customize color (RGB hex values), brightness, and animation styles (fade, blink, pulse, wave, heartbeat, etc.).

  • Vibration effects: Adjust intensity, duration, number of cycles, and on/off timing per cycle.

  • Real-time preview: Trigger effects instantly on the selected tag to validate customization.

  • Reset options: Return to default light and vibration settings if needed.


How to Access the Effects Editor

To access and use the Effects Editor:

  1. Open DISPLAX Connect.

  2. Navigate to the Active OR section.

  3. Select the Effects Editor option.

  4. Follow the steps in the guide linked below to configure your tag.

  • Always ensure tags are fully charged before testing long-running effects.
