Fullscreen Mode, Frame Monitor, and Canvas Color in DISPLAX Connect

Overview

DISPLAX Connect provides several visual tools to help test touch accuracy, object recognition, and sensor behavior. These include Fullscreen Mode, Frame Monitor, and Canvas Color options, which are especially useful during testing for accuracy of calibration and troubleshooting.


Fullscreen Mode

Fullscreen Mode allows you to test touch input and object recognition for accuracy, and without interface distractions.

How to Enable Fullscreen Mode

You can enable Fullscreen Mode using any of the following methods:

  1. Click the Menu, hover over Frame, and select Fullscreen.



  2. Click the Fullscreen icon located on the left edge of the canvas in DISPLAX Connect.



  3. Press the keyboard shortcut F11.



Frame Monitor

Enabled in the Menu, by hovering over Frame, and selecting Frame Monitor:



It displays real-time data processed by the touch sensor. Available data depends on the connected DISPLAX product and may include:
  • Touch points

  • Object Recognition data

  • Digital Whiteboard Marker input



When to Use Frame Monitor

Frame Monitor is particularly useful for:

  • Testing simultaneous touch or object interactions

  • Detecting false positives or “ghost touches”

  • Diagnosing issues caused by strong or fluctuating electromagnetic interference (EMI)

  • Determining whether fine-tuning or adjustment is required




Canvas Color

You can change the background color of the DISPLAX Connect canvas to improve visibility during testing.

Available Canvas Colors

  • White (default)

  • Black

  • Green

How to Change Canvas Color

  1. Open the Menu.

  2. Hover over Frame.

  3. Select your preferred Canvas Color.
