Touch Status Popup

Overview

DISPLAX Connect includes a Touch Status Popup designed to prevent accidental shutdowns with touch input disabled.

If you close DISPLAX Connect while Touch Injection is set to OFF, a warning popup appears with the message:

“Touch is disabled”

The popup includes a toggle that allows you to immediately re-enable touch before exiting the application.

Important Behavior

If DISPLAX Connect is closed while Touch Injection remains OFF:

  • No touch input will be processed.

  • Touch will remain disabled until it is manually set to ON again in DISPLAX Connect.

This safeguard helps avoid situations where touch appears unresponsive after closing the application.

How to Disable the Touch Status Popup

You can disable this warning in either of the following ways:

Method 1: From the Popup

  • When the popup appears, select the checkbox:
    “Don’t show this message again”

  • Close DISPLAX Connect normally.

Method 2: From Preferences

  1. Open Preferences (gear icon in the upper-right corner).

  2. General tab.

  3. Under the option:
“Popup alert when closing the application: ‘Touch is disabled’”

  4. Select No.

To avoid unexpected touch issues:

  • Ensure Touch Injection is ON before closing DISPLAX Connect.

  • If the popup is disabled, verify touch status manually when reopening the application.
