Lamination with the MIX Solution and Squeegee

Use "squeegee 2" exclusively to laminate the touch sensor onto the glass, and start removing the Mix Solution.

The Mix removal should follow the sequence and directions of the arrows as presented in Fig.23

DirectionsFig.23

Start by gently pulling the squeegee from the middle of the touch sensor, as shown by arrow number 1.

Then start from the middle of the touch sensor again, pulling the squeegee in the opposite direction, shown by arrow number 2.
Apply the same procedure as shown for arrow numbers 3 and 4, lengthways across the sensor, always pulling the squeegee from the middle to the outer edge.

It is advisable to fix the glass and sensor edges, or that someone holds it in place, to avoid dragging or moving it (Fig.24)

Keep foil in placeFig.24

Verify the sensor is well aligned and carefully inspect for any dust or particles between the touch sensor and the glass (Fig.25)
InspectionFig.25

If you detect any particles or contamination, you can carefully lift the touch sensor (foil) and remove it. Wet your fingers with the MIX solution and very gently remove the contaminant with your fingernail.

Visually inspect the touch sensor once more. If the contaminant has been removed and the sensor is undamaged, proceed with the lamination process.

Perform the process three times in total. Each time applying a bit more strength through the squeegee.

This way the excess MIX between the touch sensor and the glass will be expelled, thus ensuring the touch sensor adheres firmly to the glass.
