Light Codes – Active OR Tags

DISPLAX Active OR tags use visual light effects (LED codes) to indicate their system state or the result of specific actions. Understanding these light codes helps ensure correct setup, troubleshooting, and use of the tags.


Light Codes and Meanings

 Power States

  • Entering Active Mode
    Light blinks once in green

  • Entering Sleep Mode
    Light blinks once in magenta


Connection States

  • Unpaired Tag
    After entering Active Mode, if the tag is not paired (or connection with the Add-on is not completed), the tag will glow blue continuously

  • Paired Tag
    After entering Active Mode, if the tag is paired and the Add-on connection is completed:

    • Light will be off (tag is ready for user light actions)

    • Tag will briefly vibrate once to confirm pairing


Charging States

When the tag is placed on the wireless charger or connected to a USB-C cable, the tag glows according to its charge level:

  • Red – Battery low

  • Yellow – Charge halfway

  • Green – Charge nearing completion
