Controllers and Configuration (Config ID)
Depending on the sensor size, DISPLAX Skin Mesh requires a specific Touch Controller.
Using the correct controller and configuration is essential for proper operation.
Available Controllers
DISPLAX provides three controller models for Skin Mesh:
-
CH130 → 22" to 32"

-
CH262 → 43" to 55"

-
CH334 → 65" to 86"

Each controller supports a defined range of sensor sizes.
What is the Config ID?
Each controller is programmed with a specific Configuration ID (Config ID).
The Config ID:
-
Matches the controller to a specific sensor size
-
Defines the number of channels (rows and columns)
-
Is set before shipment
-
Cannot be used interchangeably with other sensor sizes
⚠️ A controller will only function correctly with the sensor size it was configured for.
Important Integration Note
Controllers are not universal across all Skin Mesh sizes.
For example:
If replacing a controller, always confirm:
-
Sensor size
-
Product reference
-
Original Config ID
How to Check the Configuration
To verify the controller configuration:
-
Open DISPLAX Connect
-
Look at the left pane
You will see:

Best Practices
-
Never swap controllers between different Mesh sizes without confirmation
-
Always record the Config ID for maintenance purposes
-
Contact DISPLAX Support if unsure about compatibility
