Overlay Calibration
All DISPLAX LG PCAP Overlays are configured to offer a Plug&Play experience.
The HID technology negates the need for any drivers, however, calibration may be required if there is an apparent offset to the touch accuracy.
To perform the calibration, simply install Displax Connect on your laptop connected to the LCD via HDMI, then:
- Launch Displax Connect and select the CALIBRATION tab
- Select the Screen to be calibrated
- Click on CALIBRATE
A black screen with four calibration points and a target on the first will be displayed, with the instruction:
To start calibration, touch on the target until it disappears.
Repeat the process for the remaining points.
- Touch and hold your finger on the point in the center of the target until the target disappears
- Perform the same process for each next target as they appear in sequence for the remaining points
The Calibration screen will close and save the data automatically. All the data is saved on the touch controller, which means that you can connect it to different machines and the calibration will be saved.
- You may now close Displax Connect
