DISPLAX Passive Object Recognition (Passive OR) enables interactive experiences using tags without batteries or electronics. Instead, printed conductive patterns (passive tags) are placed on objects. These tags are detected when interacting with a Skin Ultra™ or Tile™ sensor.
Passive OR uses the TUIO protocol, integrated into DISPLAX Connect software, to deliver tag detection data in real time. Developers can combine tags with traditional touch input to create powerful interactive applications.
