Picture Adjustment

Picture Adjustment

The Picture Adjustment feature allows users to modify critical visual parameters such as brightness, contrast, saturation, clarity, backlight, and color. These settings help optimize image quality for various viewing environments while addressing the unique characteristics of individual LCD panels.

Steps for Image Adjustment:

  1. Access Image Adjustment Settings:

    • Navigate to the [Pictute Adjustment] section within the VIDEOWALL CONTROL V4.0 software.
  2. Adjust the Following Parameters:

    • Brightness: Modify the overall luminance to adapt to ambient lighting and improve visibility.
    • Contrast: Fine-tune the distinction between light and dark areas for enhanced depth and detail.
    • Saturation: Control the vibrancy of colors, making them more vivid or subdued depending on your needs.
    • Clarity: Adjust sharpness and definition to emphasize image detail.
    • Backlight: Manage the intensity of the backlight to balance power consumption and display brightness.
    • Color: Customize the hue and tone for more accurate or visually pleasing images.
  3. Uniformity Across Displays:

    • Apply adjustments consistently across all units to maintain a seamless appearance in a video wall configuration.
    • If individual adjustments are required, keep variations to a minimum to ensure visual uniformity.
  4. Consider Panel Variability:

    • Note that due to the color range variability of LCD panels, slight differences in color and brightness may be noticeable between displays.
    • These differences are a natural result of manufacturing tolerances and can often be minimized through careful adjustments.
  5. Save and Review:

    • After making changes, click [Save Current Data] to save settings.
    • Review the visual output in the actual environment and make fine-tune adjustments if necessary.

Tips:

  • Use Calibration Tools: For precise adjustments, professional tools such as colorimeters can help align the displays accurately.
