Reset Button Operation

The Reset button on a DISPLAX Active OR Tag has multiple functions, depending on how long it is pressed.
This button is accessible through a small hole at the bottom of the tag and should be pressed using a small pin, screwdriver, or toothpick.

How it works

  • Every 2 seconds while the button is pressed, the tag light blinks to indicate a function ID.

  • To select a function, release the button within 2 seconds after the corresponding light effect appears.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Transport Mode is used for shipping and storage. Tags must exit Transport Mode before pairing or use.

  • Calibration stabilizes the communication between the tag and the BLE Add-on.

  • Factory Reset will erase custom settings (ID, name, etc.) and restore the tag to its original configuration.
