Restart the Touch Controller

The Restart Touch Controller option in DISPLAX Connect allows you to safely reboot the controller without disconnecting cables or powering off the system.
This is useful when:

  • You’ve made configuration changes (Gain, Threshold, Shield, etc.).

  • The controller becomes unresponsive or behaves unexpectedly.

  • You need to reinitialize communication after firmware updates.

How It Works

Restarting the controller:

  • Briefly interrupts touch communication.

  • Reloads all current configuration parameters.

  • Resumes normal operation automatically after the restart completes.

💡 Restarting does not erase settings — all configurations remain saved in the controller memory.
