RS232
The RS232 port on the DISPLAX TILE Pro provides a control interface that allows users to manage display settings remotely, such as powering on/off, adjusting brightness, or changing inputs. For setups with multiple TILE Pro displays, RS232 supports cascading, enabling control over a series of displays from a single command source. This is ideal for video walls, as it allows synchronized control across all screens, streamlining adjustments without needing individual access to each display.
LAN
The DISPLAX TILE Pro offers remote management via LAN (Ethernet), allowing users to control each display’s settings—such as power, brightness, and input selection—over a network. In multi-display setups, each TILE Pro unit must connect separately to the LAN to enable individual control. While cascading isn’t supported, this network-based connection still allows centralized management, making it ideal for large installations where adjustments can be made across each display independently from a central device or software interface.
