Shield

Shield

Shield Function in Displax Connect

Shield is a feature designed to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) affecting the touch sensor.

How it Works

  • EMI Symptoms: Visible as grey dots along the touch sensor borders or scattered across the active area.
  • Activating Shield: Increases the Shield level to minimize EMI. As you raise the Shield level, the grey dots should disappear.

Important Notes

  • Higher Shield levels can reduce touch sensitivity, which may affect touch responsiveness.

  • Set the Shield level only as high as needed to avoid false touches while maintaining optimal touch performance.
