Tag Calibration via Reset Button

To ensure stable communication between the Bluetooth Add-on and the DISPLAX Active OR Tag, it is mandatory to perform a calibration. This process aligns the tag’s internal sensors with the controller, guaranteeing consistent performance and accurate object recognition.

How to Calibrate the Tag

  1. Locate the Reset button on the tag (small hole at the bottom).

  2. Use a pin, screwdriver, or toothpick to press the button.

  3. Hold the button for between 4 and 6 seconds.

  4. The tag will blink and vibrate twice after 4 seconds – this indicates calibration mode.

  5. Release the button immediately after the two blinks/vibrations.

  6. The tag will complete calibration automatically.

After Calibration

  • The tag is now synchronized with the Bluetooth Add-on.

  • Communication will be more stable and reliable.

  • Only one calibration is required after the initial setup, unless the tag is factory reset.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Calibration is mandatory before first use.

  • Without calibration, the connection between tag and controller may be unstable.

  • If connection issues occur, repeat the calibration process.
