Pairing Active OR Tags

DISPLAX Active OR Tags connect to the Skin Ultra™ controller using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). To start using them, each tag must first be paired with the controller.

Before Pairing

  • Active Tags are shipped in Transportation Mode (battery-saving). They must be taken out of this mode before pairing.
See: Exiting Transportation Mode (link article).

  • Each tag can be identified by its MAC address, which is visible:

    • On the back label of the tag

    • In DISPLAX Connect software

This makes it easy to confirm which tag you are pairing.

Example:

  • Back label with MAC address

  • DISPLAX Connect view with MAC address
