Settings Adjustments

Why Are the Touch Settings Hidden for My Displax TILE?

When you connect your Displax TILE and open the DISPLAX Connect software, you may notice that the SETTINGS tab appears mostly empty and does not contain the usual touch adjustment sliders (like gain or threshold).

This is entirely normal and intentional. Every DISPLAX TILE unit is perfectly configured and rigorously tested at the factory before it is shipped. Because of this precise factory configuration, manual touch settings are disabled and hidden in the software to prevent accidental adjustments that could negatively impact performance.

The Settings tab in DISPLAX Connect for a TILE unit. Touch adjustment parameters are intentionally hidden because the unit is pre-configured at the factory.

What Do I Need to Do Instead?

Because the hardware parameters are locked, all that is required to get your video wall up and running is to perform a standard touch calibration tailored to your specific physical setup.

To do this, simply skip the Settings tab entirely and click directly on the CALIBRATION tab.

What If My Touch Isn't Working Perfectly?

If your touch points are misaligned, your first step should always be to recalibrate the unit using either the Video Wall Calibration or Drag Mode Calibration features.

If you have successfully calibrated your setup but still feel that the touch performance requires fine-tuning due to a unique environmental factor, you will not be able to adjust this yourself. Instead, contact the DISPLAX Support Team directly. Our engineers can evaluate your setup and assist with any advanced diagnostics.
