Optimization is a parameter that allows choosing the balance between speed and smoothness of Touch. Factory settings are halfway between Touch speed and Touch smoothness for Skin Ultra and Skin Fit; for Skin Dualtouch the factory settings slightly favor touch speed. You can change the default value to optimize the Touch experience in accordance with the desired usage.
If you want more Touch smoothness, you can obtain it by increasing the optimization level. This is useful for drawing or writing.
Conversely, if you want more Touch speed, you can gain it by decreasing the optimization level. Useful for non-precision activities, like touching buttons and manipulating images.
Always try to establish an adequate compromise between precision and speed according to the application content and user experience you wish to provide.
