The TUIO protocol allows DISPLAX Skin sensors to send Touch events (multitouch data) to client applications in real time. This is useful for developers integrating Passive Object Recognition with touch interaction in custom applications.
Open DISPLAX Connect.
Click on the TUIO icon (upper right corner).
Select the connected Touch Controller.
Enter the IP address and Port information of the client PC.
Click “ADD TUIO CLIENT” to start sending touch events.
Note: Configure TUIO only after completing touch settings adjustments.
Once TUIO events are being received by the client PC, you can close DISPLAX Connect.
TUIO will continue running as a Daemon (Windows) or Agent (macOS) process.
To stop TUIO, follow the steps below:
Touch limit: DISPLAX Connect supports up to 20 simultaneous touches over TUIO.
Uninstallation: Stop TUIO events before uninstalling DISPLAX Connect to prevent errors
