Installing and Uninstalling DISPLAX Connect on Ubuntu

This guide explains how to properly install and uninstall DISPLAX Connect on Ubuntu.
Following these steps ensures the application is correctly installed or fully removed, avoiding leftover files or configuration conflicts.

Download DISPLAX Connect here.

Install DISPLAX Connect on Ubuntu

  1. Open a Terminal.


  2. Navigate to the directory containing the DISPLAX Connect installation file:

    cd /path/to/installer

  3. Make the installation file executable:

    chmod +x file_name

  4. Run the installer to start the installation process:

    ./file_name


Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation:















Uninstall DISPLAX Connect on Ubuntu

  1. Open a Terminal.

  2. Navigate to the DISPLAX installation directory:

    cd /opt/displax/

  3. Run the maintenance tool to remove DISPLAX Connect:

    ./maintenancetool

Follow the prompts to fully uninstall the application:
