DISPLAX Service – Version and Status Command

Overview

DISPLAX Service provides a command-line parameter that allows you to quickly check the installed version and current running status of the service. This is useful for troubleshooting, verifying installations, and confirming compatibility with DISPLAX Connect or other tools.


How to Check DISPLAX Service Version and Status

To display the DISPLAX Service version and its current status, open a terminal (macOS/Linux) or command prompt (Windows) and run one of the following commands:

Supported Commands

displaxservice -v

or

displaxservice --version



What the Command Displays

Running either command will return:

  • The DISPLAX Service version currently installed

  • The service status (for example, whether the service is running or available)


When to Use This Command

Use the version/status command when:

  • Verifying a successful DISPLAX Service installation
