DISPLAX Service provides a command-line parameter that allows you to quickly check the installed version and current running status of the service. This is useful for troubleshooting, verifying installations, and confirming compatibility with DISPLAX Connect or other tools.
To display the DISPLAX Service version and its current status, open a terminal (macOS/Linux) or command prompt (Windows) and run one of the following commands:
displaxservice -v
or
displaxservice --version
Running either command will return:
The DISPLAX Service version currently installed
The service status (for example, whether the service is running or available)
Use the version/status command when:
Verifying a successful DISPLAX Service installation
