Video Wall Calibration

Video Wall Calibration

DISPLAX Connect includes a new feature, Video Wall Calibration, designed to simplify the process of calibrating multiple TILE Pro units in a video wall or table setup simultaneously.

DISPLAX Connect detects all TILE Pro devices connected to the PC and automatically sets the calibration areas. All connected TILEs are displayed in the left panel of DISPLAX Connect.

Example: 4 TILE Pro Units in Portrait Orientation

The following example assumes 4 TILE Pro units arranged in 4 vertical columns and 1 horizontal row.

Steps to Calibrate:
  1. Launch DISPLAX Connect.
  2. Click on the CALIBRATION menu.
  3. Select Video Wall.

  • A Config Video Wall option will appear. Select the appropriate video wall matrix.
    • In this example, select 4x1.
  • Click on the CALIBRATE button.

  • Adjusting Calibration Areas

    1. DISPLAX Connect will automatically fill the calibration areas for all TILE Pro units.

    • However, due to differing resolutions or aspect ratios, the green rectangles representing the calibration areas may not be correctly positioned. You can adjust these manually using the following controls:

    1. Rotate rectangle
    2. Adjust size vertically
    3. Adjust size diagonally
    4. Move the entire rectangle
    5. Adjust size horizontally

    Key Adjustment Tips:

  • Ensure each rectangle fits entirely within its corresponding TILE Pro screen.
  • Leave a black border of 3–5 cm around each rectangle to ensure proper calibration.
  • Avoid filling the entire TILE display area with the green rectangles, as this ensures the calibration targets remain accessible.

  • Performing the Calibration

    1. Press Space to start the calibration process.
    2. Calibration targets will appear on one TILE Pro unit at a time (4 per TILE).
      • Place your finger on the center of each target until the green circle completes itself.
      • Move to the next target and repeat.
    3. After completing the last TILE Pro, the calibration process is finished, and all TILEs can now function as one large touch screen.
