DISPLAX Warranty Terms

DISPLAX is committed to providing high-quality products and hereby warrants to the original end-user/customer that our products are free from defects in material and workmanship. In the event of any problems with our products, please follow the guidelines outlined below.

Effective from January 2017, all DISPLAX Skin products are covered by a 2-year warranty, valid under normal use, starting from the date of the product's invoice.

During the warranty period, DISPLAX will repair or replace any defective parts that are returned to our head-office in Braga, Portugal, Europe. The replacement parts provided will be covered for the remaining duration of the original warranty. Please note that all parts exchanged under this warranty will become the property of DISPLAX.

This limited warranty does not cover any damage to the product resulting from the following:

  1. Incorrect handling
  2. Improper or incorrect installation
  3. Damage caused by use of the product outside the permitted or intended uses as described in the product specifications
  4. Use of incompatible or unauthorized accessories or components
  5. Incidents or accidents
  6. Acts of vandalism or intentional damage
  7. Misuse
  8. Damage caused by natural disasters
  9. Insufficient or excessive electrical power supply
  10. Abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions
  11. Incorrectly repackaging the product


Additionally, this limited warranty does not apply to any product that has been:

  1. Altered or tampered with
  2. Obliterated or had its original configuration removed


Any damage caused by service, including upgrades and expansions, performed by anyone who is not a representative of DISPLAX or by anyone unauthorized by DISPLAX is not covered by this warranty.

To initiate a warranty claim, the buyer must contact DISPLAX Support department and provide the following information:

  1. Applicable product model and serial number
  2. Date of purchase
  3. Description of the problem


At its discretion, DISPLAX may also require the buyer to return the product covered under warranty.

Please note that the warranty is limited to a return to base service only, and it does not include the following:

  1. On-site repair charges, such as labor
  2. Travel expenses
  3. Shipping costs
  4. Other expenses related to the repair or installation of replacement parts


If applicable, DISPLAX will cover the shipping charges for sending repaired, replaced, or exchanged products from our facilities to the original point of shipment.

If a product is sent for repair under warranty, but upon inspection, no defect is found in the unit, the buyer will be responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the product.
