This parameter of the command line tool allows you to define the number of rows/columns around the edges that you wish to “clean” (remove the EMI noise) if a certain amount of touches happens. (Usually, if you have false touches around the edges).
displaxservice -a 127.0.0.1 --te2fnref o x y
|o||number of lines (rows/columns) around the edges|
|x||number of touches to be considered to trigger this command|
|y||number of touches outside of the edges to be considered to trigger this command|
How to select one, two, three or more lines around the edges (the value used in ‘o’):
Each column and row as a value of ’50’.
If you want to select:
|1 line around the edges||x = 50|
|2 lines around the edges||x = 100|
|3 lines around the edges||x = 150|
|N lines around the edges||x = 50 X N|
Values used in ‘x’:
From one to the maximum of touches your SKIN support. We do recommend to keep this number between 2 and 3.
Values used in ‘y’:
From 0 to the maximum touches your SKIN support.
We do recommend to use 0, as in that case this command only will be triggered when no one is touching the SKIN (on the active area).
displaxservice --te2fnref 100 2 0
The -te2fnref will be triggered if :
- inside of two lines (columns/rows around all the edges)
- there are 2 touches
- and outside of the edges (active area) no one is touching the SKIN (0 touches)
If you want to make this changes permanent (save them to the controller) you should run the following command:
displaxservice --device-settings save
