Rotate and Swap Linux touch input

If you are using an Linux Operating system that doesn’t support Displax Connect, you might need to rotate or swap the X and Y coordinates (for example: Raspbian or Ubuntu Mate or Raspberry PI 3).

To do this just follow this steps.

Use this to determine the device:

xinput list

In this example Displax Touch Controller ID will be “12”

To do the rotation select one of the following options:

# Normal

xinput set-prop 12 “Evdev Axis Inversion” 0, 0
xinput set-prop 12 “Evdev Axes Swap” 0

# Left

xinput set-prop 12 “Evdev Axis Inversion” 1, 0
xinput set-prop 12 “Evdev Axes Swap” 1

# Inverted

xinput set-prop 12 “Evdev Axis Inversion” 1, 1
xinput set-prop 12 “Evdev Axes Swap” 0

# Right

xinput set-prop 12 “Evdev Axis Inversion” 0, 1
xinput set-prop 12 “Evdev Axes Swap” 1
