Lamination Overview for DISPLAX Skin Ultra

Lamination is the process of applying a DISPLAX Skin touch sensor onto a non-conductive surface such as glass. It ensures durability, accuracy, and stable touch performance.

Key Steps

  1. Clean the glass – Use ethyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove dust, grease, or contaminants.

  2. Prepare the solution (MIX) – 90% distilled water + 10% Johnson’s Baby Shampoo.

  3. Apply the sensor – Place the touch sensor carefully on the prepared glass.

  4. Use a squeegee – Remove excess solution and ensure there are no bubbles or particles.

  5. Drying period – Leave the laminated sensor flat for 24 hours in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

⚠️ Handle the sensor gently to avoid creasing, and always unpack and laminate in a clean, dust-free workspace.
