What is DISPLAX Cast?

DISPLAX Cast is a remote configuration feature available in DISPLAX Connect 3.0 and newer.
It allows you to configure any compatible DISPLAX touch controller remotely, without needing to be physically connected to the device.

This feature is ideal for managing multiple controllers across different locations, such as retail networks, production lines, or remote installations.

Requirements

To use DISPLAX Cast, ensure that:

  • DISPLAX Connect 3.0 or later is installed on both the host and remote computers.

  • The DISPLAX Service feature is installed and running on both machines.

💡 The host machine is the computer physically connected to the touch controller.
The remote machine is where you will access and control the device via DISPLAX Cast.

Activating DISPLAX Cast

By default, this feature is inactive.
To enable remote access, you must specify on the host machine that you allow remote clients to connect to your touch controller(s).

This ensures secure communication between systems and prevents unauthorized access. Check how to activate it here.
