Massive Clearance (MESH & ZEETO)

Massive Clearance (MESH & ZEETO)

Overview

Massive Clearance (DISPLAX MESH) allows the Touch Sensor to ignore large-area contacts—such as palms, hands, or arms (or even water)—while still detecting finger touches.
This prevents accidental or unintended touches during typical interaction with the screen.

⚠️ *Note: This feature is not available for Skin Dualtouch.

Massive Detection Parameters for DISPLAX MESH and SKIN ZEETO

Massive Clearance

Defines the area around a detected Massive where additional touches will be ignored.
  1. Higher values increase the blocked area, reducing false touches caused by nearby fingers.
  2. Lower values make the rejection zone smaller, which can improve responsiveness.
💡 Increase Massive Clearance only as much as needed — excessive values may block valid touches close to the hand or arm.

Massive Min Size - SKIN ZEETO ONLY

Defines the minimum size a detected touch must have to be considered a Massive.
  1. If this value is too low, normal finger touches may be mistaken for a palm and rejected.
  2. If it’s too high, larger objects may still be detected as normal touches.
  3. The default value is 100.
✅ Recommended: Start with a midrange value and adjust gradually until palms and arms are correctly rejected without affecting normal finger touches.

  1. Start with low Gain and Threshold values.
  2. Gradually increase both until smooth, stable touch performance is achieved.
  3. Adjust Massive Min Size* and Massive Clearance to filter out palm or arm touches without losing finger sensitivity.
  4. Test across the entire sensor area — especially near edges and corners.
*Only available in SKIN ZEETO

Additional Notes

  • Depending on your DISPLAX product, the visual representation of Massive Clearance may vary slightly. On Displax Skin Ultra and Fit products, it is called Palm.

  • Adjust Massive Clearance after the sensor is fully installed and environmental conditions are stable.
