RS232

RS232

The TILE is equipped with the RS 232 communication protocol.

This makes it possible for multiple TILEs to be daisy-chained via an RJ45 cable, allowing for controlling all linked TILEs' settings simultaneously. Using the TILE's remote control will display the OSD menu on each linked TILE at the same time.

It's necessary to have the TILES daisy-chained via RS 232 to take advantage of DP 11 mode, see the article: Set Up Mosaic - DP 11

The connections of the RS232 daisy-chain work as follows:

The RJ45 cable must be connected to the PC COM port. Every TILE is shipped with an RJ45-COM port adapter:

In case your PC doesn't have a COM port, we recommend using a USB adapter.

For a list of all RS232 commands, please see the article titled RS232 Commands List.
