Stand-by, ON and OFF

Stand-by, ON and OFF

Upon the first time configuring the Touch Controller, ensure that the Touch Injection status is set to ON before closing DISPLAX Connect (it is set to OFF from the factory), otherwise, the Touch Controller won’t process touch signals.

If touch injection was set to ON during the first configuration before closing DISPLAX Connect, the touch injection status will be set to STAND-BY when you re-open DISPLAX Connect. In this case, you can leave it in that position, as touch injection is automatically enabled (set to ON) when you close DISPLAX Connect.

In summary, touch is temporally disabled when opening DISPLAX Connect. This way, you will be able to adjust settings without the touch being active if you want or need to. When you close DISPLAX Connect, touch injection will be re-enabled automatically and the STAND-BY status will change to ON. This stand-by status is only active when DISPLAX Connect is open.

If you want to disable this feature, meaning the Touch button status won’t change automatically regardless of whether you open DISPLAX Connect, you can toggle the Stand-by button to OFF:

Please note that DISPLAX Connect should only be open when configuration changes are being made. Upon concluding the Touch Controller settings adjustment, you must close it, as leaving it running decreases the touch speed.

All settings are stored on the Touch Controller, so once configured for a particular display/glass/air gap combination, you can replace the computer without affecting the touch setup.
