Markers Calibration

Markers Calibration

DWM (Digital Whiteboard Marker) Calibration software calibrates the Markers to the correct frequency and color. During the process, the touch controller locks in the best frequency for an optimal experience.

The DWM Calibration is included in the Displax Connect software. You can find it in the directory: "C:\Program Files\DISPLAX\DWMCalibration"

To calibrate the Markers perform the following steps:

  • Launch DWM Calibration
  • Click START to initiate the calibration process

  • Prepare the Markers and wait until the countdown reaches 0

  • Place the Markers on the matching color targets as indicated, and hold still until the process ends. The markers need to be held perpendicular to the screen surface.

  • Upon completion, a message will be displayed stating whether the process was successful, or a prompt to repeat the process if it was not

You can now open Displax Painter and test the Markers.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Sometimes DWMCALIBRATION doesn't finish successfully when the sensor isn't in perfect touch conditions or has a lot of noise. In these cases:

  • Check Displax Connect Optimize is enabled, and set to the max value, 4
  • Change the Optimize value starting from: -1 (switch turned off)
  • After 0, and so on until you reach the max 4
  • When you change the value, click yes (it will restart de controller)
  • Now, re-calibrate in DWMCALIBRATION
  • Repeat the steps above until the calibration is successful
  • After that you can change optimize to improve performance and/or accuracy (Displax Connect)
