The DISPLAX Skin Mesh is designed to provide a Plug & Play experience using HID (Human Interface Device) technology. This means no drivers are required.
However, in rare cases where there is a visible offset in touch accuracy, manual calibration may be necessary.
To recalibrate your Skin Mesh sensor, follow these steps:
Install the latest version of Displax Connect on the PC or laptop connected to the display.
Launch Displax Connect and go to the CALIBRATION tab.
Select the screen to be calibrated.
Click on the CALIBRATE button.
A black screen will appear with four calibration points.
Touch the center of the first target and hold your finger there until a full green circle appears.
Once the on-screen message changes to “Wait. Processing point data.”, lift your finger.
Repeat the same action for the remaining three targets.
Once completed, the screen will automatically close. The calibration data is saved directly on the touch controller, so:
There's no need to recalibrate when connecting the controller to a different computer.
You can close Displax Connect once calibration is complete.
